Can I get hours for licensure through the BBS?
In California, licensed mental health professionals like LCSWs can supervise ACSWs (Associate Clinical Social Workers) or AMFTs (Associate Marriage and Family Therapists) who are accruing hours for licensure. (Please check California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) regulations)

With years of experience across clinical, correctional, and supervisory roles, I specialize in developing strong, ethical clinicians who are prepared to lead with confidence and compassion. Currently supervising in a correctional facility and having previously mentored interns as they bridged academic learning with real-world clinical practice, I offer guidance that blends field-tested knowledge with a deep understanding of emerging clinician needs.
My goal is to help you feel grounded in your clinical voice, skilled in your interventions, and confident in the work you’re doing—especially when it’s hard.
